In an upsetting turn of events, Paducah county police have taken 14 year old Albie Barns into custody today after classmates informed authorities that he had been in possession of several hand-drawn maps. The maps, police said, were detail recreations of Orcish camps from the "Dungeons & Dragons" campaign for which Albie was the "Dungeon-Master". In the police report, however, the sheriff referred to Albie's role as "Devil Master" and the maps as terrorist training materials.

When asked to comment, anti-Video Game spokesman and highly regarded pantsniffer, miami lawyer Jack Thompson had only this to say:

"DnD? That's so 80's. Kids still play that? Do they have any money?"

There has been an outpouring of sentiment from the DnD community for young Albie, with many players refusing to roll their 20-sided die in support for the young Dungeon Master's plight, but it seems that for Albie, the only thing he'll be rolling is over in his cell, taking a magic missle from his cellmate.
